Artists Statement
My works imagery were highly influenced from both the rural and urban area, as people live in both landscape and my subjugated perspective pushed me to doing so. The present compositions are in fact snippets from the life I had lived since the time I was born beside the mighty TeestaRiver in Jalpaiguri till my admission to my college in Kolkata. The idea of juxtapose to lives through the mundane household elements which are seemingly opposite, the work become a very syncretism and the unknowingly both images are Co-ordinate each other’s lifestyle in a complimentary way. The ideas are comes out when I travel back to my native places from the chaotic juncture of my current metropolitan residential place.
As a student of sculpture mostly I work with the conventional way of making images and used the mundane objects to attempt the visual dialogue of syncretism. Sometimes the objects are destructed and it has represented withanother Objects co-ordinations to create or give the rural dilemma of the place. But here the making process of this imagery through the thin hatch and cross line is a back through from the chaotic window, where some times the dot’s is so meditate. Which has the call for the observation to the work too me again and again and this perception make my composition so chronicle of my two live.
